Subject: Daily Attendance Marking for Students, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff in School Information System (SIS)
Please refer to the subject mentioned above.
- School Information System (SIS) provides real-time information into school operations, enabling data-driven decision making to improve educational outcomes and school performance.
Despite its importance, the attendance marking feature has been underutilized due to inconsistent marking in School Information System (SIS).
Effective attendance management in SIS is not limited to students alone; it also involves teaching and non-teaching staff, fostering a culture of accountability, productivity, and collaboration, benefiting the entire school community.
- To ensure seamless attendance tracking, CEOS-DEAS are directed to issue directives to all schools to implement daily attendance marking for students, teachers and support staff in SIS.
DMOS and MEAS will monitor and enforce compliance of these guidelines during their school visits.
